DISABLED SAMARITANS PLANT THOUSANDS OF TREES
After more than 14 years of hard work, two disabled men have become legends in their village in China’s Hebei Province. During this time they have planted thousands of trees. Jia Haixia is blind and Jia Wenqi does not have arms, but their disabilities do not stand in the way of their work, instead they allow their abilities to complement one another.
For the physically demanding parts of their job, like staking plants and climbing trees to prune branches, Haixia does the job under Wenqi’s guidance…
