About a week ago, my dog sat on the deck and watched a bird. When it took flight, he leapt out in an attempt to catch it in his mouth.
Yesterday, a neighbor asked if my dog is a bird dog. We didn’t have an answer for him.
Today, my dog watched some geese marinating in a pond. He pointed, eyes calculating. He then reared and leapt into the pond balls to the air and swam after them. He’s never been in open water.
Conclusion: I’m going to need more dog shampoo.
