Several years ago I went in with an ongoing numbness/itchiness/mild pain in one half of my leg. After a careful examination and thoughtful consideration. He sat across from me, looked me in the eye, and said, “Eric, I don’t know how to tell you this, but… You’re just going to have to suck it up and deal with it. Meralgia paraesthetica. A pinched nerve. Quit being a baby and get used to it.”
He just called it like he saw it.
