Cleaner sounding, but still kind of a ‘dirty’ clean sound. It’s got some grit to it when he digs in.
That’s another difference I hear between humbuckers (Gibson) and single coils (Fenders). The dynamic range. When you dig into a humbucker, it kind of tops out after a certain saturation point.
Single coils don’t do that. Especially when your ‘touch’ lightens up.
This fucking band. Goddammit. So incredibly good.
