If you got out of a box-car at the end of those tracks this is what you saw.
When you looked up, the sky was filled with heavy black smoke.
A layer of gray ash coated everything… Welcome to Birkenau.
Here was the last stop in Hitler’s “Final Solution.”
This wasn’t that long ago.
