Right about the time some of the worst reports from Paris were coming in, I worked 3 Air France heavies in a row, all headed to Charles de Gaulle from Houston, Atlanta, and Charlotte respectively. It’s crazy to think of what a different city they’ll arrive in tomorrow than they left yesterday. Of the almost 1000 combined people on those flights, surely some are going to land, turn on their phone, and receive tragic news. I wanted to say something to the pilots other than the obligatory “take care, nice flight” when I shipped them to the next frequency but what can you even say?
