Highlights of the trip?
1. Seattle. Awesome. What a cool place. A cross between the best parts of Portland and San Francisco but without the inherent arrogant bullshit of Portland and without the Massive Big City Crammed in a Really Small Geographic Area of San Francisco.
2. Ferries.
3. Lake Serene in the Cascades. Well worth the monsoon rain.
4. The cute wedding.

Lowlights of the trip?
1. Leaving seattle.
2. Coming home to 85% humidity.
3. The gang of NYU Law grads. Yuck. (Full disclosure: The Strangelet is one of them, but she does not associate with them. Except for the groom.) They actually think they’re the greatest people to have ever existed. Some of them are those people who, although you may have actually sat and had lunch with one if them THREE DAYS BEFORE, they will completely ignore you. Not that I care, I just find people who are so into themselves exhausting. My wife was in their class and graduated with them and only one of them (outside of the groom) actually talked to her (us) beyond a “hey, what’s up?” They’re like a gang. The lamest gang in town.
