Done.

Well, it’s over. I packed up my stuff from the booth, had a couple of beverages on the lot with the 100 or so people involved and now I’m home.

I just want to do this. I think I finally realized what a couple of people saw in me when I first got my Equity card and now I want to continue down the stage management path. Of course there are some speed bumps.

But here I am. Finally on the porch having a celebratory Macanudo Maduro Vintage 1997 and attempting to process the whirlwind of a summer that is over for me. It isn’t that the work is fun or a party, but it is creative and interactive. To be an integral part of a process. To be a collaborator. To be respected and appreciated. Weird, eh? To be hired to do a job and then to be allowed to do it. What’s that about?
