I want the Catholic Church to be a better place. But at every opportunity, they just get uglier and meaner.

As a former Catholic, this is a perfect representation of exactly why I can’t even pretend. I can’t take what I like and leave the rest as some people that I know do. I can’t support them because anything that I do, even if in my conscience I say it is for charity or for a specific thing, ultimately, in the end, people like this dick, think that I support their version of the Catholic Church, which, if we’re honest IS the only version of the Catholic Church.
