I’ve always wondered about these as an effective mode of transport for the police. 1: constant mockery 2: stairs.

I tell you what, a gang of Segway driving commandos with automatic rifles become hilarious once you look past the guns and at the vehicle. Also, if chased by a rolling squad of Segway Swat members I’m just going to go up or down a flight of stairs, or, you know, up onto the curb.
