It’s amazing to think that when I was briefly in Paris twenty years ago, there were people sleeping in that same spot along the river, on those very bricks.
In 20 years we managed to create the richest civilizations in history, built the greatest repository of information that the world has ever known, found countless ways to prolong life, and can communicate with people across the globe with devices we carry in our pocket…

yet we STILL haven’t figured out how to put a homeless person in an apartment.
