Sometimes you have a rainout and you say, “Meh. Rainout. Whatever.”
But this show was really fun and my first show back in six years. It was a blast and I wanted to see it one more time before moving on to the next one.
The final run of a show is always so cathartic and pleasant. It’s high fives all around and then maybe a beer on the lot with the cast and crew and then home. You feel like you accomplished something. Like, well, we made it through all seven performances after only 13 days of rehearsal.
But tonight was just rain and boring. And 10,000 bummed out ticket holders and cast members.
Oh well. Onward.
