I remember picking up shifts off and on in a couple of ERs and seeing equipment with inspection stickers that said “Y2K COMPLIANT”… That made me feel better.
This photo was from August. The sun setting in Kauai, Hawaii. It’s one of my favorite places in the world. I (and Jen) feel at peace there.
2013 has been a decent year. Some up ups, some down downs, with a year that’s unfortunately ending tumultuously.
That said: it’s time to take a deep breath and to look at these problems as something to solve and get past - to not wallow and falter, to sway helplessly.
It’s the time to pick up yourself and those around you that need help - the people that you care about and love, and get them to where they need to be, where they deserve to be.
